It has taken a while to decide to post a blog. A big concern for us was making sure we protect the kids and sometimes that is a challenge when it comes to the internet.
I am not good about keeping in touch (especially writing letters) but with life being so busy and changing so fast, I figured I had better set this up now, or I would never get it running.
Here is a quick run down of the family:
TC (Trauma Crazy) is my husband. (his manager calls him a "sh*t magnet" which is probably more fitting) He works in the ambulance field (previously as an EMT doing 911 calls-which is how he got the name)
Tia, is me. I am a stay at home mom. I quit working almost 2 years ago and it has been the best but hardest thing we have done since we got married.
I have been married to TC for 12 years (next month) and even though we have re-thought that whole idea at times, we are grateful we didn't give up and things are a million times better than we would have thought a few years ago. We live in Southern California and have 2 1/2 wonderful children.
KJ, is our oldest and she is 10 1/2. She loves to read, draw and do crafty type things. She has a hard time being the oldest but I am so grateful that she is. I wouldn't be able to do it without her help.
Tink is about to lose her spot as the youngest. She will be 7 next month and is very excited about being a big sister. She is very active and never sits still, she talks constantly, drives you nuts easily but always seems to make you smile.
Soon to arrive is the long awaited "Monkey Butt". We waited alot longer than we originally planned to after Tink was born. I knew I couldn't handle dropping a baby in the middle of our already insane world, so we waited until things seemed to be perfect, at which point they immediately fell apart. We are extremely excited to be having a boy and there will be no shortage of love for him.
Lets not forget Ruby our dog and Mr. Ratburn, KJ's pet rat. They are both alot of fun and love and we are glad they are part of the family.
So that is the family and we welcome you to our crazy little world. I hope that you will be able to follow all of our excitement and changes a little easier this way.
